Why the name True Words Divined?
Looking for a title that would cover both aspects of her activities, linked by the need to use words effectively when helping people and organisations to express themselves, Rilke Muir¹ named her business True Words Divined.
This title sums up what she is about – truth and integrity being very important to her; words being her living and the way she prefers to express her creativity; and divined as in inspired.
Inspired by?
Inspired as in the 'gut feeling' that drives some
40% of stockbrokers to make their decisions, according to Queensland
University research².
The research identifies
the inspiration of the expert who has years of knowledge and experience,
developed to such a degree that one has the ability to access the
brain's databanks and arrive at decisions. We all do this
when, for instance, we cross a busy road – unconsciously
taking into account distance/speed calculations, road conditions
etc. We do it seamlessly, intuitively. The researcher says intuition
is connecting your own expertise with a sort of "collective
consciousness in a discipline or area" which
in Rilke’s case finds its outlet in writing.
Divined also captures that touch of wonder when clarity of mind does seem inspired from somewhere else.
A registered business, True Words Divined provides writing and event services, including Life Celebrancy.
Rilke has technical and clerical support to assist her in looking after her clients well.
